Hermès Birkin

The Birkin was created in 1984, after Jane Birkin sat beside Hermès chief executive Jean-Louis Dumas on a flight and told him she could not find a bag large enough for daily life. What followed was a travel bag scaled down for a handbag, built to the standards of a saddler. Recognised by its two rolled handles, top flap with sangles, turn-lock and clochette, in 25, 30, 35 and 40 across Togo, Clemence, Epsom and exotic leathers. Birkins reach us rarely; every pre-owned and used Hermès Birkin here is documented with its stamp and hardware, and is inspected, condition-graded and verified in-house before it is listed.
